#TeamParis: The Magic of the Eiffel Tower

And out of nowhere I was obsessed with the Eiffel Tower

I have never been to Paris - but La Tour Eiffel has something very special about it that is hard to explain. 



It started when a friend of mine offered me one of his souvenirs that he got from France. He had three key chains with miniature Eiffel towers in different colours; I took the one whose colour was closest to the original tower. 

As the Eiffel Tower represents not only Paris, but France in general I might subconsciously transfer all the characteristics that I associate with France into the picture of the tower.

Fashion

Paris - one of the European metropolises for fashion. The French were always known as people with great taste in clothing and accessories (Chanel, Dior, and YSL). Fashion week in Paris is one of the most important ones in the world besides the ones in New York, London and Milan. In addition, Paris has been always number 3 or number 4 in the Global Language Monitor rankings as fashion capitals over the past few years.

Love

There is no other city in the world that is as much related to the word LOVE as Paris. It is possibly the only city of love that exists. This is surely connected to French being the language of love. The architecture and design of buildings together with the prejudice of the love for pleasure in art and food, as well as the importance of aesthetics and the desire for beautiful things makes it easier to understand why Paris is a place-to-go for lovers. 
By night the Eiffel Tower is lightened up and increases the general romantic atmosphere of the city even more.


Lifestyle

"C'est la vie"

I believe that the sense of nationality that French people have influence their attitude and behaviour strongly. The proud that they have regarding their country reflects in their personalities and therefore in their lifestyle. French songs and artists lead in the French music charts; they have an established film industry and are known for their fashion, food, and art. Nevertheless, besides their national pride, you find French people all over the world travelling.
